Mori was a Japanese artist who specialized in Kappazuri (stencil prints). He began as a textile artist before turning to prints later in his career. His colorful works most often depicted scenes from the kabuki theatre and other subjects related to folk traditions. He also was one of the key artists of the Sosaku Hanga movement.
