OnlineARTGroup.com was conceived by a fine art dealer with over 30 years of experience in representing some of the most important artists of the 20th and 21st century. A partnership was formed with a financial and investment expert  with more than a decade of overwhelming success and knowledge in foreign currency and investment strategies. Building collections has been a major strategy in building wealth and diversified investments for these clients. Bringing together these two major forces in wealth building strategies is the core idea for forming OnlineArtGroup.com. 

Many galleries and consultants are not interested in the sale of secondary market works of art. 

The reason: Resale and secondary works of art more often carry lower commissions than works that are acquired when first available to the market place. 

The result: There are few dealers who make these works available to the seller who has decided to bring these works back to the marketplace. 

The internet has stepped in to become the major player in re-sale and placement of recognized works of art and strategic currency markets. 

Why: Lower overhead without the constraints and expense of the traditional brick and mortar, that the traditional gallery has to incur.

There are other online art brokers in the market place. Our observation has been that, although some do have inventory of recognizable and important works, they have also opened their sites to artists and artworks that are mass hyped in the market place and commercially successful rather than limiting inventory, to works, which will have long term financial and curatorial stability. Some have simply become a clearing house for unwanted wall decor.
