1- Why should I list with OnlineARTGroup?

Our company has over 30 years of experience bringing collectors and sellers together and has an ongoing relationship with many of the living modern masters and their foundations. 2- Would I be better off sending my work to an auction house to sell?

As both the buyer and seller, this is certainly a decision worth considering.

As the seller: An auction house is will consider a reserve. This price will be set prior to delivery of the work. Delivery and shipping is a cost incurred by the seller. If a reserve is not met, the work of is pulled from the auction and return shipping is billed at the expense of the seller. Further, if a work of art does not meet reserve, in the international market place could be black listed, as a work that did not sell.

As the Buyer: The reserve price has predetermined the amount you will pay for a work of art. Beyond the reserve a buyers premium is added to the purchase price. The amount is a standard 20%. The amount realized is most often based on emotions created in the hype and the stress of the moment.. This usually means that you have paid far beyond the anticipated price. PRIVACY POLICY

Regarding personal information, OnlineARTGroup.com operates with the utmost discretion.  It doesn’t matter who you are, we are absolutely committed to protecting your privacy and your personal information.  OnlineARTGroup.com will not release any of your personal information to any outside sources unless authorized by you.  OnlineARTGroup.com will only contact you under the conditions you set forth regarding communications, notifications, and requests.

PAYMENT METHODS

Payment can be made through wire transfers (worldwide), verifiable official bank checks (US only), cashier checks (US only), cash (worldwide), and money orders (US only); other payment methods must be coordinated in advance with OnlineARTGroup.com.

OnlineARTGroup.com will accept credit card purchases up to a maximum amount determined only by return or verified purchasers.

Payments made using official bank Checks (US only), cashier checks (US only), cash (worldwide), and money orders (US only) must include issuing bank contact information for verification.

Any attempts at payment fraud will not be tolerated.  Any attempts at fraud will be turned over to law enforcement and pursued and prosecuted to the maximum extent possible.

LISTING AGREEMENT

Listing with our site is free and there are no limits as with other online art websites. There is a 15% commission on sales above $4900, a 20% commission on sales below $4899. Every sale below $1900 is subject to a minimum commission of $ 475. The minimum asking price allowed is $1,900 unless approved by OnlineARTGroup.com. Amounts are always rounded up to the nearest 100.

When listing with OnlineARTGroup.com, you agree to list "exclusively" with our site for 180 days. By listing your artwork with us, you have agreed to this condition and further agree not to list the artwork with other websites; however, you may reserve the right to sell your art privately. After the initial listing period of 180 days, you may list your art elsewhere, maintaining your listing with OnlineARTGroup.com with the understanding that we retain the ability to sell your artwork so long as it is listed. It will be your responsibility to inform us to remove your listing if it is no longer available. You are welcome to remove your listing at any time without penalty. Individuals listing work on OnlineARTGroup.com must own the work being listed, or have written verifiable authorization to make the listing.

PROCEDURAL CONDITIONS

Registration is required to BUY or SELL works unless coordinated with OnlineARTGroup.com.  Any personal information you provide to us will not be used, shared, or sold!

It is important that Sellers provide as much information as possible about any work being sold.  Provide the clearest personally produced images of the work as possible.  Make certain the images you provide are not taken from an online or other copyrighted source.

Experts at OnlineARTGroup.com will verify and approve Seller listings within 24 business hours of receipt.  Upon approval, Sellers will be notified immediately and the work will be listed and marketed to markets internationally.

Sellers will be notified immediately of legitimate and verified offers for listings.  We will use the information Sellers provide to us regarding the lowest offering price we should pass along to the Seller, or if no minimum price is provided to us, we will use our expert judgment and discretion in forwarding reasonable offers to the Seller.

Upon Seller acceptance of a Buyer’s offer, OnlineARTGroup.com will initiate payment collection from the Buyer on the Seller’s behalf.

Upon purchase/offer acceptance notification, the Buyer will have 72 business hours to complete funds transfer to OnlineARTGroup.com’s escrow account.  Payment can be made through wire transfers (worldwide), verifiable official bank checks (US only), cashier checks (US Only), cash (worldwide), and money orders (US Only); other payment methods must be coordinated in advance with OnlineARTGroup.com.

Within 24 business hours of funds verification, OnlineARTGroup.com will notify the Seller to initiate shipping which must be initiated within 72 business hours of notification from OnlineARTGroup.com.

Buyers pay all shipping costs; Sellers pay all packing and crating costs unless otherwise included under the listing, or agreed to prior to finalizing the transaction.

Within 48 business hours of the Buyer satisfactorily receiving the artwork, the Buyer will notify OnlineARTGroup.com of “satisfactory delivery.”  Within 24 business hours of “satisfactory delivery” notification, OnlineARTGroup.com will transfer purchase funds to the Seller (minus commission).

In the event Buyer funds have not been transmitted to OnlineARTGroup.com within 72 hours of Offer/Purchase acceptance from Seller, the Seller has the option to cancel the sale and re-list.

In the event the Seller does not ship the artwork within 72 hours of funds verification and notification, the Buyer has the option to cancel the transaction and receive a full refund.

In the event the Buyer is not satisfied with the product delivered due to false or misleading statements regarding any aspect of the artwork, the Buyer must notify OnlineARTGroup.com with 24 business hours, or relinquish any rights of dispute regarding the transaction.  The Buyer will document any damages and misrepresentations related to the artwork and forward them to OnlineARTGroup.com for immediate review and resolution.  All damages incurred as the result of shipping will be pursued by the Buyer with their shipper.  Because damages can be recovered from/through the shipping company, damage incurred during shipping will not constitute cancellation of the transaction or funds transfer to the Seller.  In the event that it is determined that false or misleading statements, or incorrect condition representations were made by the Seller, the Seller will be responsible for any costs associated with return delivery to the Seller.

Each Seller is responsible for adequately packaging and crating any artwork sold to a Buyer.  OnlineARTGroup.com has numerous resources available to guide you in correctly packing/crating any kind of work.  Any damages to artwork incurred during shipping will be pursued by the Buyer. Artwork can be shipped through OnlineArtGroup.com. If such requests are made, the Seller will be responsible for both the shipping to us and to the end Buyer unless otherwise negotiated.

Buyers are responsible for any applicable taxes or duties required.

The Seller always assumes complete legal and ethical responsibility for all listings, pricing, authenticity, and accuracy; and relieves Online ARTGroup.com from any and all misrepresentations and legal actions that may result.

OnlineARTGroup.com is not responsible for verifying the origin of listed works. If OnlineARTGroup.com determines that any listings or listing requests are of a criminal origin, OnlineARTGroup.com will halt all Selling/Buying procedures for that work and notify appropriate law enforcement authorities.
